Re-upholster!!!
Well, that is the only solution you can do to achieve a new look for your old kitchen chairs.
Through the years, I think locally made old chairs are more sturdy than the new designs in the market to day. Because we had these really old chairs made of metals and cushion at home and up to present they are still in good condition except for the covers and paintings.

This is a very common technique I am seeing in home makeover and design shows in the TV, old looking chairs are being transformed into fabulous ones just by changing the paints and the cushions into new styles which would match the looks they want, it can be modern or classic, it all depends on the color of paint, the fabric and the design of the fabric.
These are really brilliant ideas and also cost-effective.
You can get ideas on magazines and internet.
And most important of all, look for that person who is good in upholstery and repair to transform your good old chairs.

How to decorate a blank wall without drilling a hole is one of the most common problems of tenants/occupants to a space they are renting because often times landlords prohibits drilling a hole on the wall.
I have gathered few possible options that might help if this is the case and they are:

1. Drill A Hole Anyway
Well if you really like to hang your favorite portrait, try drilling a hole and promise your landlord that you will fill-up the whole anyway the moment you move out. Just be sure you had their approval before risking being thrown out.
2. Lean your paintings against the wall
I already saw this concept to some famous houses featured on TV shows. They just place their painting on the floor or tables.
3. Paint your walls
Try maximizing the use of wall paints by doing some artistic accents to liven up your wall.

4. Accessorize
Make use of ornamentals and tall vases instead

5. Be creative and artistic
Instead of using framed pictures or paintings, try using cloth, poster or tarpaulins. They can look stylish if done creatively.

6. Liquid Nails and Double Adhesive Tapes
You can use adhesive tapes and liquid nails but the weight of the item you will hang is limited only to a few grams.

I think if historians would actually try to record the early origin of games, we are to go back to the first child of the early creations of the earth, even animals knows how to play. It is the child in us that is usually constantly aroused whenever we see meet the opportunity to play games. It is already natural for us to be playful.
From leaves and butterflies to board games and now free games online, it will never fade in our history.

From the classic mock Fighting Games children would play and now to online fighting games. Were you could actually have a large selection of games.
Of course, many of us have the fondest memory of our first experience of learning how to ride a bike and eventually challenge our siblings to have a race with them. They are fond memories we could reminisce and take to the next level while surfing on the internet by playing Car Games made available by the free games offered.

Last week the Nationwide Building Society released data that showed house prices had fallen for the first time in twelve years, and were 1% lower than they were a year ago. This data has now been backed by the Halifax, which has also reported that house prices are now lower than they were this time last year. This has brought increased gloom to the housing sector, which is already suffering as a result of the global credit crunch and tighter mortgage lending conditions.
Officials are now warning that the decade long property boom in the UK has come to an end, and with the bubble having burst many homeowners must now brace themselves for the rocky downwards journey. An official from the Halifax said: ‘We are expecting a modest decline in house prices in 2008, and there is a strong chance that will continue into 2009. House prices are high in relation to earnings so there is a problem for people entering the market, and there is a general squeeze on spending as well.’
There are now increased calls for the Bank of England to cut the base rate again, even though the central bank has already cut rates three times since December of last year, taking the rate from 5.75% to 5% during this period. However, officials are unsure as to whether the rate will be cut at the up and coming MPC meeting or whether it will now be June. This is because of a split on the last decision to cut loan rates, with some MPC members worried about rising inflation levels.
One official said: ‘Disagreement on the MPC has intensified between those members who are more worried about the near-term inflation outlook and those whose concerns centre on the weakening growth prospects.’
